How It Works

From the first form to your first withdrawal: how to open an account at Admiral, verify it and play for real money in Swiss francs.

    Step 1 — Registration

    You open your gaming account with a short form. We ask for the details required by the Gambling Act and for your personal loss limit.

    • First and last name, date of birth (18 or over), e-mail address and mobile number
    • Street, postcode and town, plus confirmation of residence or habitual abode in Switzerland
    • Password of at least 8 characters, including at least one letter and one digit
    • Monthly loss limit (mandatory) and, if you wish, a monthly deposit limit
    • Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions; promotional e-mails only if you want them

    Step 2 — Account verification

    After registration your account is open on a provisional basis. Within 30 days you confirm your identity in your account under «Verification»; our team checks the details manually.

    • ID details: Swiss identity card, passport or foreign residence permit B/C, document number and nationality
    • Check of identity, personal details and address
    • Check against the exclusion register
    • If we need documents, we contact you by e-mail
    • We store only the document type, the last 3 characters of the number and your nationality

    Step 3 — Deposit

    In the cashier under «Deposits & withdrawals» you choose a payment method and the amount. All amounts are held in Swiss francs.

    • Payment methods: TWINT, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard
    • CHF 10 to CHF 10’000 per deposit
    • Before verification, no more than CHF 1’000 in total
    • Your deposit limits apply to every payment
    • The cashier shows the applicable amounts before each payment

    Step 4 — Choosing a game

    In the game finder you filter by category, provider or name. You play for real money as soon as verification is complete; each game’s start screen shows what is still missing.

    Step 6 — Player protection

    The tools for responsible gambling are part of every account. You can adjust them yourself at any time.

    • Lowering applies immediately, raising or removing after 24 hours
    • Game break from 1 day to 6 months
    • Reality Check every 15, 30 or 60 minutes

Rules for your account

  • Only one gaming account is allowed per person.
  • Only persons aged 18 or over can open an account.
  • You must have your residence or habitual abode in Switzerland.
  • Anyone listed in the exclusion register cannot open an account; we check this during verification.
  • Your account is provisional until verification is complete; your identity must be confirmed within 30 days.
